How a story goes

Four minutes, and one thing to remember

A small child will not sit through a story being read at them. They will absolutely sit through one where somebody their own size is in it, and where they get to move about halfway through.

  • The story, acted out

Not read at them from a page. Zuzu and the others are in it, so a two year old has somebody to watch rather than a narrator to sit still for.

  • Wiggle in the middle

Every story stops halfway for a bit of moving about, because a toddler who has been still for four minutes has stopped listening anyway. That is the wiggle, and the giggle usually follows.

  • One thing to take away

A single line at the end, in words a four year old can repeat, and the verse it came from. Not a lesson plan. One sentence they can carry into the day.

  • Nothing plays on afterwards

It finishes and it stops. No autoplay into something you did not choose, and for members, no ads in front of it either.

Where to watch

Free on YouTube, ad free here

Every story goes up on YouTube where anybody can watch it for nothing, and it will stay that way. What a membership changes is the watching: the same stories on this site with no ads in front of them, no recommendations down the side, and nothing queued up to play next.

Being straight with you about where this stands: there is one episode published so far across the whole site, and the next stories are being written and drawn. I would rather you knew that now than felt misled later.

The first activity pack is free with an account, so the thing they watched turns into something they can hold. See how the pages work.
