One mum, one kitchen table, one very musical toddler
I am in Alberta. I started this for my own two year old, because I could not find what I was looking for anywhere else.
Why I started making these
My daughter wants music from the second she opens her eyes. So I did what everybody does, I searched for nursery rhymes, and I got the same handful of very big channels back. They are well made. They are also secular from beginning to end, and one rolls straight into the next until she is wound up like a spring.
I wanted two things at once and I could not find them in the same place. I wanted her to learn the things she actually needs at this age, her letters and the sounds they make, reading, spelling, counting, her colours, her shapes, the names of her own elbows. And I wanted all of it to point at Jesus while it happened, not as a verse tacked on the end but as the reason the song exists.
So I started writing them myself. Afrobeat first, because those are the rhythms I grew up dancing to and I cannot help it, and then nursery rhymes with the words put right, and then lullabies, because by seven at night nobody in this house needs another drum. She sang them straight back at me, which is how I knew they worked.
Then I started making the pages, because a song goes in properly when they see the same letter on paper an hour later. I print them at this table. Yours print at yours.
That is the whole thing. The songs are free. The printables are free with an account. If the longer teaching videos turn out to be useful in your house, that is what pays for the next lot getting made.

What this is, and what it is not
Small sites can be made to look big. I would rather you knew exactly what you are looking at.
There is no team
It is me. I write the songs, I make the pages, I build the site in the evenings. When you email the support address, I am the one who reads it.
There is no stock library
Nothing here is bought in, relabelled and resold. Every page is made for this, with love and intention and real hours behind each book, which is also why it goes slowly.
It is early days
One episode is published and the pages that go with it. I would rather tell you that plainly than let the site imply a back catalogue that is not there.
